    About

    Where Science Meets Ancient Wisdom

This workshop offers a practical and immersive introduction to Yin Yoga and acupressure, here modern movement science meets the ancient wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)

    Scientific Context & Approach

The key focus of this workshop is understanding how movement, stillness, and pressure influence the body and its internal systems. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, organs are interconnected through meridians that run throughout the fascial network. Contemporary research into fascia and neuro-myofascial connections now provides anatomical explanations for these long-observed relationships.

During the Workshop, You Will Explore:

How long-held Yin postures affect the fascia, joints, internal organs, and nervous system, and how the combination of stillness, awareness, and gentle pressure supports deep restoration

The relationship between meridians, fascia, and organ health

Simple and safe acupressure techniques to support organ-related pathways

The role of the parasympathetic nervous system in regulation and recovery

You will develop a holistic understanding of Yin Yoga as a functional, anatomically informed science-supported practice that complements modern movement and therapeutic approaches.
